Welcome to Blue Horizon Bay—our hidden jewel on the Eastern Cape coastline of South Africa. With pristine beaches stretching for miles, unspoilt nature, breathtaking sunsets and a peaceful atmosphere, it offers a rare combination of natural beauty and community spirit.

As a conservancy village, protecting and preserving our environment is part of everyday life here. From the coastline and dunes to the surrounding vegetation and wildlife, this is a place where nature still matters.

Looking this good doesn’t happen by itself. What makes Blue Horizon Bay truly special are the volunteers working quietly behind the scenes to keep it that way. Two organisations play a major role in caring for our village:
- Blue Horizon Bay Conservancy
- Blue Horizon Bay Community Watch
Through conservation efforts, community projects, security initiatives, and ongoing maintenance, these volunteers invest countless hours into protecting and improving our village for residents and visitors alike.
These photos show the incredible difference local volunteers made after debris from cargo containers washed up along our coastline. What looked like a disaster zone was transformed through hard work, determination, and community spirit.
To our residents: your involvement makes a real difference. Membership contributions, participation in events, and community support allow these organisations to continue the work that keeps Blue Horizon Bay clean, safe, and thriving.
